Cooking Method:

  1. Remove rice ball from freezer, do not thaw.
  2. Lower rice ball into boiling water. Push rice ball with back of ladle constantly to prevent sticking.
  3. Boil at high flame for 4 minutes, rice ball floats, reduce flame to medium and boil for additional 3 minutes.
  4. Ready to serve.

    The coconut filling gives the traditional flavors of rice ball a modern twist. The dessert, wrapped in a delicate, slightly chewy exterior, oozes a generous portion of sweet coconut filling. What I love most is the texture—the coconut adds a refreshing crunch that is super delightful. The sweetness is just right, not too heavy. Reminds me of Ondeh-ondeh. Highly recommend!
