Glutinous Rice Ball 汤圆 is a traditional Chinese dessert with various fillings, manufactured frozen with no added preservatives. Great complement of chewy dough texture with sweet fillings. Ready-to-eat oriental heritage food in a few minutes! Pastel pink colour dough skin makes it suitable for wedding and auspicious events.

Cooking Method:

• Sweet Soup


2 pieces pandan leaf

1 small piece ginger (peeled and smashed)

1200ml water, 200g sugar


Cooking Instruction:

  1. Sweet Soup: Bring 1200ml of water to boil, add pandan leaf, ginger and sugar. Bring to boil again and turn off heat to set aside.
  2. In a separate pot, put in frozen Glutinous Rice Ball into boiling water. Stir them with back of ladle constantly to prevent sticking.
  3. Allow to boil at high flame for 5 minutes, then reduce flame to medium heat abd boil for another 3 minutes.
  4. Scoop the Glutinous Rice Ball and put in sweet soup. Ready to serve.
