Lava Sesame Ball

Frozen Sesame Ball with lava custard filling is 100% developed fresh frozen (not pre-fried or pre-cook). It enables consumers to achieve similar quality compared to freshly made sesame ball after frying. Some manufacturer's process it pre-fried due to the inability to maintain a wholesome sesame balls during deep-frying.

The perfect union of sweet savoury combination, smooth and creamy molten salted egg yolk filling oozing out from crispy fried sesame ball dough, goodness and blissful taste of heaven!

Cooking Method:

Electric Deep Fryer:

  1. Remove from freezer, thawing not required.
  2. Heat oil to 160°C, fry Lava Sesame Ball for about 6 to 7 minutes or till golden brown.
  3. Remove and serve.

 

Gas Stove:

  1. Remove from freezer, thawing not required.
  2. Add oil into pot, ensure oil level could cover Lava Sesame Ball.
  3. Heat oil at 'HIGH' for 3 to 5 minutes (use wooden chopstick to test temperature, oil is ready for frying when there are buddies at the chopstick).
  4. Reduce flame to 'LOW' and place Lava Sesame Ball into heated oil.
  5. Move the Lava Sesame Ball lightly with wooden chopstick to prevent browning on one side (stop the moving when Lava Sesame Ball floats).
  6. Fry Lava Sesame Ball for about 7 to 8 minutes or till golden brown.
  7. Remove and serve.

* For 2nd or 3rd frying, maintain the 'LOW' flame.  When bubbles can be seen on the outside of Lava Sesame Ball,  you are at the right frying temperature.
